What a creative way to teach students about different types of rocks! I love how you incorporated using a microscope in your lesson! This surely will provide the students with a close-up visual aid of the rocks they are studying. Giving students the opportunity to guide or make "discoveries" in their learning is very neat. It provides them with a great first-hand experience in the class period! Great work Lexy!
This is such a great activity to use in a classroom. Using the microscope is a fantastic way to implement technology in a lesson. The students will love learning about rocks this way! I plan on using this type of lesson in my classroom someday.
I love this idea. It would make rocks so much more exciting and really engage the students!
ReplyDeleteI really liked that you used the digital telescope, it makes the lesson really interesting!
